On the 12th of May 2017 Adams Sawmill will be delivering enough hardwood sleepers to make about 50 raised garden beds. Some will be raised height to allow for disabled and wheelchair access.
These are going to be the start of our community accessible raised garden beds.
On Saturday the 13th of May 2017, starting at 8.00am (to stop the heat problem), there will be a working bee for all able bodied and enthusiastic South Coffs Community Gardeners, at the gardens, to construct and install these beds so come along and help start the gardens proper.
Come prepared with sunscreen, water, hats, appropriate clothing, safety gear and any tools you might have that you think might be useful, plus a lot of enthusiasm.
We look forward to seeing you there.
